TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Booking and Payment:
Payment should be paid into the stated bank account, by cheque within the dates and terms stated below or by cash on arrival on special request (referring short stay accommodation.) If any cheque is dishonoured, we reserve the right to charge £15 to cover our administration costs. For bookings made one month or less before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
A 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday must be paid to secure and reserve the booking initially, this is non refundable. This must be made before we can confirm your holiday. The final 70% must be paid one month prior to arrival. If payment is not received in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.
Our charges are listed below. Deposit payments are non refundable.
Notification and Cancellation Charge:
More than 8 weeks - Deposit retained
Within 8 weeks - 40% of final payment charged
Within 6 weeks - 80% of final payment charged
Within 4 weeks - 100% of final payment charged
Any damages to the property or items within the property are to be paid for in full.
We offer no responsibility for loss damage or stolen goods from the property. It is advised that the guests take relevant travel insurance before their holiday.
You must be adequately insured for your holiday. Winter sports holidays carry an element of danger and clients must be covered by an appropriate insurance policy. Please ensure you read your insurance policy document as soon as you receive it and take it on holiday. It is your responsibility to ensure the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular requirements.
Should you wish to make any changes to your arrangements after they have been confirmed, you must advise us via email or phone. Whilst we will endeavour to assist, we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet any such requests.
Our holidays are planned well in advance. It is therefore sometimes unfortunately necessary to make alterations to websites and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to do so. Most changes will be minor ones. Seldom may it be necessary to make a significant changes.
White Chalets Bansko cannot pay compensation, refunds or accept liability for changes we are forced to make to your holiday contract resulting from circumstances amounting to Force Majeure. These include, but are not limited to, war, riot, civil action, terrorism, strikes, border closures, natural disasters, fire, industrial disputes, resort closures, technical problems, inclement weather, natural or nuclear disasters, government action, pandemic/epidemic illness or outbreak or other events beyond the control of White Chalets.
Only the stated number of 12 people may stay in the chalet at any one time unless previously agreed. Free transfers are applicable to Sofia Airport only. Semi catered weeks transfers are only available free to groups of 6 or more. Package deals are subject to availability and price fluctuation. Discounts and package deals do not apply to peak weeks.
In the event that you have reason to complain whilst on holiday with us, you should immediately notify a member of staff. By raising complaints early, they can often be dealt with quickly so the rest of the holiday can continue to your satisfaction. If you are still unhappy after your initial complaint you have 28 days from the end of the holiday in which to write to us with full details. For all complaints and claims which do not involve personal injury, illness, lost or stolen goods or death, we cannot accept liability if you fail to notify the complaint entirely in accordance with this clause.
A valid 10 year British passport is required. A validity of 3 months beyond the end of your intended stay is required. All children entering Bulgaria require their own passport. Other passport holders enquire at the Bulgarian Embassy: 0207 584 9400
